Moderate treks such as Hampta Pass or Kedarnath involve daily walks of 6-22 km at altitude, so a few weeks of walking, jogging or stair climbing beforehand makes a real difference. Each trip page lists its specific difficulty level and daily trekking distance.

Our trips are run as small group departures rather than large tour-bus batches, which keeps things personal and lets the trip captain actually look out for everyone. Exact group size varies by trip and season, ask our team for the specific batch size on your dates.

Traveller safety comes first. If landslides, snowfall or road closures affect a route, we adjust the itinerary or offer an alternative plan on the ground. This is most common on high-altitude routes like Kedarnath, Ladakh and Spiti during the monsoon months, which is also why we recommend keeping a buffer day when booking.

Most of our group departures are best suited to travellers 12 years and above, since itineraries involve long travel days and, on some trips, moderate trekking. For peak-season dates (May-June and the Diwali/New Year window), booking 3-4 weeks ahead is safest since batches fill up and permits for places like Kedarnath and Ladakh take processing time. Weekend trips from Delhi can usually be booked with 1-2 weeks' notice, subject to availability.

Let us know about any dietary requirements (vegetarian, Jain, allergies, etc.) at the time of booking. Most of our stays and included meals can accommodate this with advance notice, though options may be more limited in remote areas like Spiti or Kedarnath.

Trip prices are shown per person on a sharing basis; GST (currently 5% on tour packages) is charged additionally, as noted on each trip's inclusions and exclusions section. There are no other hidden charges beyond what's listed as exclusions on the trip page.
